Rainbow at Narada Falls

Taken at Narada falls at Mt Rainier National Park, one of the many waterfalls in this region and is named after the divine sage Narada of the Hindu tradition. Narada is a devotee of Vishnu, and is also known as the delightful character causing quarrels among Gods.

This shot was not a particularly easy one, given that there is a constant heavy spray of water. This meant that within seconds, both you and your camera lens would be completely soaked, and you'll have to back off, wipe the lens clean, point your camera at the general direction of the water and take another shot. Rinse and repeat.

One day at a time

That's probably the only way I'm ever going to stop prcrastinating and actually post the few million pictures I've taken in the last few months. One day at a time, and atleast a photo a day.

This was taken at Pike Place Market in Seattle, one sunny weekend. This was a stall where engraved stones were being sold, ranging from texts like 'Serenity' and 'Kisses', to sunsigns and other seemingly random images.

Going Photowalking

Someday, I tell myself, someday, I'm going Photowalking with Scoble and Thomas Hawk. What do they do in Photowalking? They take great pictures! I love Scoble Show and I loooove Thomas Hawk's photo collection (especially the portraits) and his camera bag. So there, isn't it worth a trip to San Fransisco and back? :)
